Things to do in Menorca: When the Menorca weather is fine visit the S'Albufera des Grau Natural Park, play a round at Son Parc Golf, visit some of the ancient megalithic sites such as the Naveta des Tudons, take a catamaran tour around the coast, or head for the beautiful beaches, among the best are Punta Prima, Son Bou, Cala Galdana and Es Canutells, when the weather in Menorca is not so good visit the capital Mahon (Mao) or the former capital Ciutadella.
Weather in Menorca: We will do a brief tour around the island of Menorca (Minorca) which we will begin at the capital Mahon, which is in the south-east of the island, we will head clockwise around the coast and the next resort we get to to Es Castell, Sol del Este, Cala San Esteve, S'Algar and right on the southern tip of the island, Punta Prima.
Continuing clockwise around the southern tip of the island you will pass Las Lomas, Binibeca (Binibeca Vell), Binissafuller, Binidali and Es Canutells. Carrying on along the coast and we reach Cala en Porter (Cala n'Porter), Sant Lorenc, Son Bou, Sant Jaume, and Santo Tomas, before reaching the beautiful little resort of Cala Galdana. Finishing off the south coast are the resorts of Sant Francesc, Cala n Bosch, and Urbanizacion Tamarinda.
Moving around to the west coast the next resort we come to is called Cala Blanca, and close to Cala Blanca is Cala Santandria. In this area also is the former capital of Menorca, Ciutadella with its Cathedral and bustling port providing ferry links with Alcudia in Majorca. and resort to the west of Ciutadella include Los Delfines, Cala en Forcat (Cala n Forcat), and Cala n Blanes (Cala en Blanes).
We now move onto the north coast of Menorca and the next resort we reach is Cala Morell, and heading east along the north coast we reach Fornells and then Son Parc the location of the only golf course on the island of Menorca. Beside Son Parc are Arenal D'En Castell, Punta Grossa and Na Macaret.
We now start heading back down the east coast and before we reach the S'Albufera des Grau Natural Park we pass Part Addaia (or simply Addaya), befor getting back to the capital Mahon. There are of course a number of inland towns and villages which you can visit, these incluse Sant Lluis, Alaior, Es Mercadal and Ferreries.
